Miles per gallon very good for what it is.

I was getting around 29-30 on my run to Le Mans this year, sticking at around the speed limit as the gendarmes were on the look out.

Generally around town its 23 / 24 to the gallon.

But, when you put the loud pedal down to the floor, who gives a censoredwhat it is doing to the gallon

Car tax is because it's officially registered as a private light goods vehicle (PLG). This is (I believe) because it was never type approved, and doesn't have official emissions figures etc..

Yep,

I got 30 miles to gallon driving from Exeter to Newcastle. sticking around the speed limit but had a few blasts so i think its great.

and haven't calculated round town. find my right foot too heavy so probably wouldn't be a fair figure anyway.

This admission is something akin to admitting to likeing some of Gary Glitter's old tunes. On the way down to Dover last year, having got stuck in slow traffic on the M6, the M25 and having loads of time to catch the Speedferry, I averaged over 40 mpg. The closer you get to Le Mans, the higher your speed gets in anticipation of the event and the mpg soon drops to low 20's.

60 litres. Although the fuel gauge will say empty with about 18 litres remaining.

No one on here has ever said how many litres they've actually squeezed into the tank so I will start with 46 litres. Any advance?
