bugger,
i have pulled all the relays out in the passenger footwell thinking they are all the same.
chucked them back in but the ones with white bases seem to be different, anyone know which sockets they go in.

They are all the same, maybe you have some 4 pin and some 5 pin, they are the same execp the 5 pin have siamise outputs.

disregarding the coil connections (no's 85 & 86) on the black base the 2 connectors parallel with each other are connected when the coil is dead and on the white base the centre and pin thats turned 90 degree are connected, so they must be different

Looks like they may have used different on the 3 to the 3R,also on the 3 there are only 12 relays and not 15 + diode, unless they are elsewhere

This is a picture of my relays and you can see one in the centre has a white base, these have a different configuration to the all black ones, can anyone tell me which of the slots should have the white based ones.

The last post shows very clearly which fuses are where and the current rating.

my noble manual shows different current ratings for them. all in the same position though.

Is there a good reason for this??

cheers

Thats out of the build manual, which I have, trouble is it doesn't show which are the different relays, i.e. most of them are normally open contacts when not energised but I have 3 which are normally closed when not energised.

Thanks anyway, I may need to get on to the factory for this....Unless!!!!

Fuse 10/14 are incorrect on the picture. wink the list shows them as 15A.

They normally make at least a feeble attemp to hide them,

When I had electrical issues I removed all the relays to check/wipe them over - again all at the same time. I then found when I put them back in the positions I (cough!) knew they were meant to be in I inadvertently swapped two of them. paperbag

That picture from the build manual is from an M400 I think, and my 3 was different to that (only three rows of relays).

I can't remember what my symptoms were to make me realise I'd put them back in wrong (might have been an alarm issue) I ended up needing to get a diagram from Noble to sort out which ones I'd got in the wrong positions.

I made up this diagram afterwards to stop me getting into the same trouble:

Hope it helps.
