I'm considering purchasing a Noble M12 GTO-3R [6 Speed].

As I've had some recent troubles with cars I've purchased I would like to discover if there are any things I should consider about this car before I pay out such as are there any known faults?

Many thanks for your help and advice,
David

I think if I came on here before buying my Noble, I don't think I would have come away with a yes or no answer. Everyone has their opinion. My advice would be to see one in the flesh, if you don’t fall in love with the look-don’t buy. If you love the look-then test-drive. If you can afford-then buy. Make sure, if you can, that its had some up-grades. The original exhaust system can be troublesome and many have been upgraded along with fuel pumps, fuel pump wiring looms etc etc etc. Be prepared to have a budget for running repairs etc, this is a small production car so is prone to requiring a bit more TLC then other less involving (German) sports cars. If you choose a Noble for the right reasons, you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a class 3R with all the knobs and whistles, there is a cracker on here, although the colour isn’t to everyone’s taste!!!! Best of luck in your search

agree with all of the above,

look especially for

perished coolant hoses
issues with standard exhaust and brackets
if uprated exhaust fitted, ensure modified fuel pump and remap

take your time and you should be able to find a good car, depending on your budget and location mine is in the classifieds, if you are local you are welcome to pop along for a view and chat over a coffee or lunch

all the best
