Engine options

I'm not considering doing this myself but got thinking about it yesterday. I know a couple of people have looked at alternative engines for the Noble, but has anyone gone as far as to drop a different engine in successfully?

any fwd ford engine should go in easily

a 2.0 Zetec/Duratec should fit

Ford have a 3.5L V6 which will drop in. It's the same engine as Ginetta G50 (?) use, as I recall.
