Looking for a Noble + can it take a Bike rack?

I am very interested in buying a Noble looking for a Silver or Black GTO or 3 in excellent loving condition with all the necessary upgrades done - LSD, ECU, exhaust etc.

My budget is £20k+ but not too much of a plus - hence I am not going for a 3R.

I am not some 20 something year old kid at uni trying to make ends meet, I have the financial resources to run the car properly.

I am happy to view both private and trade sales.

However on a more important note! Can the Noble take a bike roof rack? Don't worry my bike is a very light weight carbon fibre bike, so it shouldn't add too much weight.

I wouldn't want to attempt to attach a bike rack. The rear clam is obviously GRP so not really built for such an application. There really isn't any suitable anchor points either. One option may be to extend something off the rear chassis but will need some work to achieve.

I really am trying to think of something helpful to say but I think the answer to your question is in the amount of people who have not responded to this particular post.

We can only be helpful upto a point, so my best advice would be to withdraw the post before the barrage starts.

There is some merit in it, as I was wondering if you could get a top box for one!, but I'll admit it would look a bit strange. In seriousness, you could fashion a very lightweight cradle from the clam hinge mounts to the spoiler posts, light alloy, supporting the bike across the rear if the bike didn't weigh in overly heavy. I know some MTB are light as a feather.

Oh OK apologies ... I was just asking what I thought was a simple question and I searched the forum and no one seemed to have asked the question. I saw a two door sports car go past this morning with a roof rack - may have been a BMW Z4 coupe ... but can't remember, which made me think about whether the Noble could do it.

Nobles do not have a boot. The only storage space is behind the seats, under your knees and the rear parcel shelf.

Oh ok .. so it doesn't have a cubby hole like the Lotus Elise?

So everything I carry must be in the cabin. How much room is there behind the seat? If the seat is pushed as far back as possible; I am guess there is no room at all?

Possibly on the passenger seat but very tight and fiddly, plus may damage the upholstery.

With the seat fully forward, there is about 10" (25cm) from the rear of the seat to the bulkhead

We can fit in a 2 man tent, quilt, inflateable airbed, and clothes/stuff for 6 days camping. It helps on space if you don't mind turning your boxers inside out
