quesit stupid!!

hello guys! Saturday I leave for vacation and go with the noble .... and that the problem for Saturday August 2 in italy and the worst days to go! I'm afraid to get heavy traffic and 2, 3, 4 hours of being stopped in traffic .... I fear for the noble ebollizzione o problem???!! ... I checked all the equipment and everything you ok ..... what do you recommend?

I had to look up "ebollizione" - boiling.

Well, I've never once had a problem with overheating but then it's not as hot in the UK as Italy !! But I have sat in traffic for quite a while with no problems, I'd not be too worried.

Hi Brischi, I have used the Noble in heavy stop-start traffic in London often and it has not given any problems at all. I suggest you check that all hose connections are good and that both your cooling fans cut-in and operate correctly. Buona fortuna

find out how to short out the fans so they run all the time

also put the heater on in the car to reduce temps

or leave early to miss the traffic !

I,ve sat in plenty of trafic for hours in southern france and UK and the cars not boiled, under bonnet temps get silly tho so just dont go booting.

Never had a problem in the Noble, always been fine in heavy traffic on hot days.

In the past though, when I've been in a car that's getting hot and is stationary I've brought the revs up to about 2k the get the water circulating around the system properly. Sounds like a crazy idea but it's always worked.

I had 4 lotus first ... hot water for heating is not noble ... has a lot more heat in the back of the noble

What sort ? I've also had 4 Esprits, cooling was always an issue with all of them, from 2.2 NA to 3.5 Turbo.
