Audi TT Air Vents.

Seeing as quite a few people have carried out this mod. I have just managed to secure 2 for £60 (£176 each from dealers!) There are still 2 available out of the 4 that were on ebay. They were in immaculate condition and I received mine the next day.

there is a topic on here somewhere showing how to do these.it is a few hours job the worse is cutting a bigger hole in the fibre glass to get the vents in.the bits of fibre glass get everywhere .took the car for a drive after turned the heater on and white dust filled the cabin

The 2 on the dash facing you are very easy, but the other 4 are not as easy as you need to remove the windscreen to do it properly. Make sure you use a hover as you grind out the hole to make it bigger to stop the dust going down the ducting pipe.

I paid £50 each for the vents from an online breakers but this was about 2.5 years ago!

Looks much better than the standard vents IMHO

Nope, not if you do a little deal with the windscreen man! Took it out in the morning and stuck it back in 5 hours later!

Well, it has a 50/50 chance of cracking when removing so i had ordered a spare just incase, but this was not needed as the windscreen man was very good!

I seem to remember hearing that our screen is the same as a Lotus something, can't remember the model.
Is that true? Doesn't look the same to me.

I'm not sure but seem to remember someone saying Lotus Elan?
