Folks, does anyone know of this car? Being up in Aberdeen, going to see this car is pretty much one side of country to another, be good to know if its worth a look, or vice versa. Going to find out more from dealer tomorrow when they open, just checking here aswell.
Seems quite low priced at £21k compared to the other GTO3's for sale.

Don't think it will hang around long at that price if it all checks out. Lovely colour, not seen one in that before.

I've been looking for a while now and this seems exceptional value - £8-9k less than similar cars...or are all the others overpriced?!

At that price I'd be asking a lot of questions.

Yeah thats why I asked here first. Might try line up an inspection before hand, it is a good couple grand cheaper than anything similar, and a fairly rare colour.

First check would be to see if it's been written off at some point.

Quick SMS car check comes back clean but ? no. of owners. I'll wait to see what the garage comes back with from the questions I've asked before doing a full HPi. Long way to travel if its a lemon.

It doesn't mention track day sump or lsd but I can't remember whether or not the GTO3 needs these. Still on a standard 5 speed box, although so is my 2.5 through nealry 3 years of ownership.

Cheers.
I've emailed the garage twice now with a list of questions and no response. Always slightly cautious about the whole "viewing by appointment only" script, like they have something to hide.
The low price is actually putting me off slightly, or at least raising alarm bells.

i bought it. should have searched for posts on it as i just put one up. so far touch wood its been fine, sat in blistering heat gridlock traffic on the way home then pissing rain, 600 miles in one day seemed ok. minor things wrong drivers door has been leaned on to get in and out and just nips the latch to close the door. minor stone chips on the front. slight wear on the alcantara drivers seat. gearknow stinks of that metal smell... lol.

smile You can drive 30 minutes and get that. Just one of the things you get used to with them to be honest.
