I've been serviced

Well the old girls had her service today and she feels so much better, but...there are a couple of bits which need doing over the winter and my questions are as follows.
1/ Both lower ball joints worn, now I am guessing they are not a fortune but are they a mare to get out?
2/ O/S drive shaft support bearing worn, easy or?
3/ Waste gate actuator N/W rear turbo, any ideas before I ring back to see what that was.
Cheers people

Exactly which Ball joints Andy? If its front lower ones they can be an industrial scale nightmare! 1/ Both lower ball joints worn, now I am guessing they are not a fortune but are they a mare to get out?

Will look at the drive shaft support bearing in the morning, see what's involved in swapping out?
Depends whats wrong with it, I'll guess the diaphragm has failed but I've seen them just detatched before too?
Cost of actuator (guessing £60) and swap over.
Doesn't sound like anything major.
Mike.
Cheers Mike.
They said it was nothing too major but I think it was you that mentioned tonnes and tonnes of pressure on the joint
Look forward to hearing back from you
car is getting really sorted out now after new software from yellowshed and other bits so would be good to get them all sorted

Yeah, mine needed to be "outsourced" and needed 25tonnes of pressure to get them out, that is almost too impossible to believe! I still need to identify those ball joints to replace then TBH. I'll find em tho. They said it was nothing too major but I think it was you that mentioned tonnes and tonnes of pressure on the joint

what would the driveshaft support bearing do if it is worn, how can you tell?
Causes vibration in the driveline. I've replaced mine twice.[/quotewould that be like a wheel bearing/similar noise
mine has a noise that can only be described as a wearing type, when going at slow speeds and you can feel it all over the car
