Gold/reflective foil

Have seen a few photos with intercooler cowls covered in this stuff - can anyone proof how effective this is and therefore whether it is worth doing - lining up a number of Winter projects so starting to assemble parts etc.

Any other areas worth doing? I have replaced the fibreglass/foil piece on the back of the cabin wall but not sure whether it is worth doing any where else?

Nimbus GII is the stuff to use under the IC box and between the IC and the box.
Makes a massive differance in heat reaching the IC from the rear turbo and cat.

where do get this g11 from ? and whats IC meaning ? me being thick ....
