Fuses corroded in passenger footwell fusebox

Just went to take the car for yearly MOT and RH headlamp not working (3R model).
Checked fuses in the fuse box behind the panel of passenger footwell and found a number of the 10am fuses very corroded and providing little or no contact.
After a quick clean of the contacts in the fuse box and replacing the old fuses with new ones, everything working OK and passed through MOT with flying colours.
Worth checking if you have had similar problems?
