Re:Heat soak etc
Discussion
I've had my Noble a few months now but havent really looked into tuning etc a great deal. I keep hearing about heat soak which is something my old Exige S suffered from. Is the original intercooler that bad? Will heat wrapping the exhuast help a lot or should i just do this anyway and fit a Forge or Pro alloy intercooler?
Im really interesting it getting the car up to 400bhp but a little concerned about stories of standard mondeo pistons and rods. My dads an ex service manager so jobs on the car arent a problem but just need a bit advice.

Yes the Noble intercooler realy is that bad, Heat soak isnt going to be a big problem over the next few months, the Pro Alloy one get the temps reliably down to about 40 degrees, speak to Wayne, he already has group buy prices for the Noble bits and pieces Im really interesting it getting the car up to 400bhp but a little concerned about stories of standard mondeo pistons and rods.
