I've bought a Dremmel!

Today I bought a Dremmel. I've been meaning to for years but I've not had a job for one yet. Sad git!
The reason for my purchase? I've got a head light out on my 2.5 and the screws that hold the cover on are rusted tight. No amount of WD or mole grips etc will shift them. A 4in grinder is too big and too close to lots of plastic! Enter Dremmel mini grinding discs. I'm all excited and can't wait until Sunday to get busy grinding.

They are cool, but make sure you have eye protection in case it breaks and fly's off.

C'mon Devil. You know all about temptation..... The Dremmels got lots of little bits in the box and another cable driven attachment and it whirrs!
I might go and do some engraving with it on anything that shines!

exactly what bondy says i have a dremmel for polishing small pipework etc.did try cutting some copper pipe and ended up with a piece of the cutting disc in my cheek just under the safety glasses.dont rush the cut as any pressure will make them disintegrate

Thanks for the advice. I've bought the re inforced discs for that very reason.

I am sat here trying to think of a witty reply but my mind has failed me, perhaps I should buy a dremmel for my nob as well and maybe a gluegun too and some sticky baced plastic

If you're planning on using the Dremel to remove the screw head, it may be easier/quicker to just use a drill. Even better if you use a left-handed drill bit - if it sticks, it unscrews the screw.
