Ordered some Viper Stripes!

After seeing quite a fwe Nobles and Rossions with Viper stripes and seeing Worty's at the Malton breakfast meet, i decided to order some in Vinyl just to see how they would look, if it looks crap i can just take them back off, i hope.
I think they really suit the Noble/Rossion.

got them on mine.. only put em on for lemans and have left em on as they look great and really suit the car IMO.
Mine were a bugger to put on tho...but then seeing as they were only 20quid rubbish from halfords I wasnt really surprised.... better quality ones will be much easier to do.

I put a string line over the car and then laid small peices of masking tape down at regular intervals... dont put long strips of tape down as it will be crooked.
Hardest part is the rear of the car... its a total nightmare, i ran out of time on mine and ending up slapping it on the lower section of the rear, really need to redo that bit.
Easiest part to get wrong is the roof... its a double curve so pay very carful attention and make sure you heat that as well.
Oh and I dont call them Viper stripes... they are boy racer stripes

The "wrap" co's like Racoon use a hot air gun - it is a skill though as, when the plastic gets warm it stretches and distorts (they do this for the curvy surfaces). My mirrors, admittendly very curvy, took three attempts.
Sorry, i need a bit of clarification Whats that thing about a Racoon?So it sounds like i need to use a hot air gun while fitting?

Only tip is don't do anything other than straight/flat area yourself and note that wraps are NOT for life like a doggie. They eventually peel off at the edges and look naff. Check out a van (like BT/Virgin, etc.) next time you are in a car-park and see.
Thouroughly clean the car in a dust free environment, wet the surface with water mixed with a very mild detergent (baby shampoo) and spray the area thoroughly.
Pull the backing off and slide into place on the car, when in place, use a soft scraper (credit card wrapped in Tissue or similar) and squeegee the water out from underneath the vinyl. Leave a few hours to dry and that should be it.
