I'm bored, so i thought i would post some pics of the diffuser mod i have been doing, will be finished tomorrow. I know this mod has been done before but probably not at this price, £10 in materials + paint, got some solic PVCu 18mm facia board, shaped it,primed it, screwed and glued to the diffuser, then blended them in so they look moulded, just need to rub down filler tomorrow and give some more coats of paint, then back on.

Pic of of it blended in with a coat of paint, just needs flatting off again with a bit more paint and then back on, in think when its back on the car tilted upward it will look a bit better.

Nice work, but personally I'm not one for adding more weight with no performance benefit.

Ye i totally agree Phil, this mod is purely aesthetical, But just got it finished in satin black, had to do it indoors as i didn't want moisture getting trapped in the paint, just had to evacuate the utility room for 24 hours.

But i'm not really that bothered about the extra weight, the 4 fins weighed less than 1/2 kg, Pvcu is a solid foam substance sandwiched by too thin pieces of plastic, everytime i add weight to the car, i have to deprive myself of pie and cake to make up the difference smile

Since i have been over in the UK i have lost 8kg in 3 weeks, i can only put it down to lack of cheesecake, i'm wasting away without my wifes cooking frown

Btw Phil, is there any link to where i can view pics of your car,I don't think i have ever seen it? I'm guessing its highly modded so I would love to see some pics.

I would not recommend this mod, when i put it on the car and stood back it looked pretty crap, i am now modifying the modification, it looked that bad i did not even bother taking a pic, i just took it straight off and started again.
