I have found a use for the AUX switch - tyre display.
Discussion
Finally got round to fitting the tyre pressure and temperature display. It comes with a USB2.0 lighter socket connector so hard wired it through the AUX switch as didn't really need it on all the time but I can be.
Mainly wanted it to see what happens to the tyre pressures (PSI or BAR) and temperatures (C or F) on track - there has been some great feedback on these units from the track addicts on the Porsche forum.

Obviously until I get the new wheels/tyres I have not fitted the valves and senders and hence the nil display.

How do you see it all the way over there?
One of the few places you can actually see from the drivers seat and big LED numbers (green for OK and red for warning). Also plenty of options (with audible sound) to alert you when the pressure or temperature exceeding certain parameter

Those were my initial thoughts. Why not fit it above/on the roll-cage above the mirror (then you just glance when you check the mirror)? I made a universal fitting that accepts most (powered or non-powered) items and none can be seen from normal view.Gassing Station | Noble | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
