Flying Nob.....
Discussion
Having considered building another garage I looked around for ideas on how to expand the parking in the existing garage and I have just had this installed today. Should have been an easy install but one of the fitters broke his arm when he slipped with the main upright but the daft sod carried on one handed
.

Had to raise the some of the rooft timbers so I could raise the platform to above head height.
It also has a removable centre section so I can tinker when I want and now the Mrs can get her SLK car back in the garage....hope she is grateful this evening

Feck me that's some setup, I'd be happy if I could have afforded the ladders propped up against the back wall.

lets just hope it works....have heard of one going down when it shouldn't of !!!!! (atleast the Noble is on top !!)
Oh er Mrs...no there is a manual lock on one of the main beams that means you can not lower the system unless this is released. This is just in case the hydraulic system fails. And yes my favourite is on top
.Not wanting to thread-hijack but this is how to show your Nob off...

very nice David !!! do you have any problems getting the Nob on and off ?? would also be interested in price .
No problems at all with clearance - would only have a problem if I tried to remove the car without lowering the platform first
. PM me for precise price details but basically around £6k fitted.Alpinestars said:
So you got it done David! Thanks for the radio, still not opened it. PS, the wheels on the 997 are filthy
Glad the radio arrived - still think you should upgrade it
. Actually both cars are filthy at the moment as they both had to stay outside for a few days whilst the roof was raised and then the lift was installed. Time for another detail me thinks
