Can anyone shed any light on what car the rear engine mount was sourced from. The one that bolted to the transmission. A Part No would be ideal pls, as I need to order one, as its melted! 2.5, with a 5 spd box.

Yep I got a set of 4 a month or so ago from Vibra Technics, I uprated mine at the same time. They do 3 different grades of mount.

Yup, its melted completely. Ian noticed it at H&S whilst doing the exhaust.

On a side note, it's not the wheel bearing, looks like the Gbox has done one! - Frigging money pit this car!

gearbox ....mmmmm bugger !!! if you look at the build manual the usa cars a have a solid heat shield to protect the rear of the engine !!! and the rear mount !! looks like i might want a set as well as it makes sense to upgrade them the engine is out . what are you going to do about the box ??
