Paint protection film

Having now got a pristine front paint work on my 3R, I`m thinking of adding some paint protection film to stop any stone chips marring the finish. There are a number of companies - Covertech, Paintguard/Ventureshield etc that provide such protective films - has anyone got any opinions or experience of the various companies and their products?
I used armourfend on my 3R which they applied at the Noble factory from new. Did a very good job of protecting the critical arears.
One of Sod's law is that no matter how much you protect the vunerable areas, you will always get the rouge stone chip (or stray object) making a mark. Ouch.

I just had my M400 completely re-painted(change of color) prior to the build. I started a paint film thread on the US noble forums:

Personally I am going to go for the film. I found a great company over here in California. PPL paint (water based) which is now standard over here, is a little softer and I want to protect at least a majority of the paint (especially as I have somewhat of a custom paint scheme). I am polling existing noble owners for the heavy chipped areas and am updating the ideal coverage for the film... problem is, the entire front clam looks like it needs covering! I have one more revision of the images after looking at a well driven Q1 recently.

It's a bit strange arguing against film protection because a different part of the car gets a stone chip?? Just imagine the number of chips the unprotected area would have got by now.
I used not to like films, but having compared a focus RS I used to have with no protection, with a friends which was protected (both bought from new), I was converted.
Armourfend is the name of the company, the product they use is ventureshield. Very good in my view. Ultimately you can take if off it you don't like it.
