starting problem
Discussion
a couple of times now i have got in my car and the fuel pump not prime up. after scratching my head the first time. wiggerling some wires it did prime up. the second time it happened i just sat in the car and kept turning the key on and off. and then it primed up again. i just put a new fuel pump on. and done the wire mod a while ago to the old fuel pump. no problem with that. any ideas thank you
i wiggeled the first time which i thought did something. but guessing not when the second time i just sat there. i changed that fuse in that row of 4 a while back. gonna change the relay i put in for the wire mod. and is there one for ignition of some sort in the footwell is there. and that fuse again. and check them wires i done just in case. just fills weird after iv just put a new fuel pump on. and i wonder if thats doggey. its only done it twice

Pull the relay and bridge the feed from the battery, this will power the pump and tell you the constant live is ok. For the switched live just get a meter and go between it and earth and switch on the ignition and you should get 12v for a few secs.
If both are ok then its got to be the relay.
Is your relay mounted in a base ? If so check the crimps are locked into the underside of it and not pushing out when you insert the relay.
