Oh dear, it failed the MOT today.
Item 1, tax disc holder in the lower left hand corner of the screen, half of it is within the swept area of the windscreen.
Item 2, HID light ballast failed on the test, what a b

Never mine I reckon thats pretty good. Free retest. sorted, there was an advisory note though that said there was play on the steering column which I must admit I have felt. What is the column off of?

I've just been out in my Clio so I had a look at the sweep:
The passenger side wiper finished vertically right at the edge of the screen: Therefore, it's completely enclosed by the sweep, both at the top and bottom, so it's not possible to not have it covered by the sweep on the passenger side.
But, your tax disc must be displayed on the passenger side. Hmm, surely this is not another example of regulations that contradict each other ?

HID ballast is the control gear for HID Xenon headlights, a boatload better than the normal halogen ones, they are a gas that burns (I think)What's a HID light ballast?
