Wheels!!!!

I've just been looking at the wheels of my car and was considering getting them refurbished, but I noticed that they are corroding a bit and the paint is flaking off.

I've searched on the forum and found this thread!!

OMG! Should I be worried? Should I change the wheels? They are 3R wheels. Or am I worrying about nothing?

I was going to get them painted black. But if you suggest I replace them - what wheels do you recommend?

Thanks .. I really like the look of the dymags ... expensive obviously - wanted to see if they had anything else but it seems like they have gone in administration!

Compomotive are a hard act to follow V good race rally pedegree with a price ticket around £800.00 for a set of 18" wheels.

Am I right that OZ wheels won't fit?

They have one I like the look of. Simple 9 spoke wheel.

It sounds like you've convinced yourself that you need new wheels but if you'd rather not, any good refurb place can strip your wheels and inform you of any defects apparent. That way you have the choice of having them refurb'd to your choosing or scrap them.

And to add, I've never paid more than 50 quid a corner and that was for 19s. Shop around, I'm sure there will be someone on here local to you who knows a place.

Looking for a set of wheels from the scrap yard just to stand our car on while we get ours refurbed. What car can I take them off, not going to drive the Noble, just push it around the garage ect.
