Not really. They start to work fine after about 10C, but usually if it's that cold there is a lot of wet or crud on the roads. Also remember that you need to warm them up as they get their grip from the chemical grip component rather than the traction grip.

I personally just use the rightfootpressdownless method. Seems to work fine

I agree to a point but no point in having the torque and power if you cannot put it down, so any extra grip is more than welcome !

IMO the A048's perform as well as the corsa's in ideal conditions and are a mile ahead in cold conditions.... not sure how that equates in equine terminology though
