I didn't realise that he'd been banned and I'll let the folks at PH Towers decide whether he's entitled to a reprieve.
I didn't observe anything untoward from him; a little controversial and sometimes provocative but that goes on all the time so I can only assume something happened on another forum?
I did actually enjoy seeing some of the upgrades and developments he was making on his car but I'll just have to tune in to nobleforums to keep up to date with those!

For the record it was for a short time. Things got complicated when he then proceeded to constantly create new accounts, with the express aim to circumvent it.

Yes you will, he got stiffed for his Noble and swapped it for a rusty old Datsun

He was certainly enthusiastic, but to the point of never being able to realise he might not be right all the time, and always seeming to completely ignore posts that gave another side to the story.If someones experience wasn't the same as his, then the other person was wrong, period. At one point I had a proper slanger with him (of which I'm not proud)and he then mailed me about it, and on the basis of what he said I'm sure in "real" life he's certainly an O.K bloke.He had plenty of knowledge of the marque,most of which I found really quite interesting, but Christ it was a bit boring when every time someone came on asking if they were reliable the first post would be 8000 words long as to why you shouldn't buy one unless it's been broken into a zillion pieces and rebuilt like his one! And of course, there was the several times he had been forced to retract/edit posts.
Of course none of the above (I don't think?) is a bannable offence!
However,on the thread that was locked it pretty much seemed tit for tat (sorry Daisy is that sexist?!),(or on second thoughts maybe tit for tat is Urbals Cyprus deal!) both parties seemed to give as good as they got,and I was a bit surprised at the ban imposed,"if" it was based on that thread in isolation.Maybe it just got out of hand,maybe there's more to it, either way Phil and the mods have a tough 'ol job. I have felt the forum over the last year had become a bit more "angry" as a whole, until recently when it seemed to be getting back on track.Maybe it's just a chill pill needed every now again.
I'll probably regret this,but if it's only on what we've seen and there's been no abuse directed privately to people,on balance I'd say come on in Urbal.........................................................sort of!

There does seem to be a lot posters guilty of this within this forum.......... As an occassional browser I find it quite amusing to see the trivial arguments batted around and the ganging up on thise just outside of the clique.

I don't find your comment sexist at all. . AFAIK his behaviour was being monitored anyway, and on that particular thread he was beginning to act like a troll. This culminated in him being told to calm down and being given a temporary ban for Mod baiting (which is never a clever thing to do ). Instead of doing this he then tried to circumvent that ban by creating other profiles (some with questionable choices of names ), which almost always leads to a permanent ban. These profiles, and most of the posts he made with them, have since been deleted. Ultimately this isn't a democracy, only the Mods decide whether someone can post or not.

I doubt he'd come back anyway as he's exchanged the Noble for a Nissan, so is probably writing rather verbose posts on the ricer forums now. He said as much as one of his aliases. So I doubt you will have missed out Colin, as he won't be making any modifications to his Noble now anyway. Unfortunately, if what he said about the buyer of his car is true, I doubt that car will survive much longer anyway.

I find it very disappointing that Urb has been “banished” from the forum. I have read the posts and feel, as has been said that it was school yard “tit for tat”. Sarcastic assumptive comments posted about peoples sexuality I feel has been more offensive than anything Urb has posted. True some of what he has posted is a bit mixed up, but the guy was passionate about what he had and did and posted some good info. I for one commend him for sticking up for himself. He has made a mistake, come on we need characters like Urb, just need to understand the rules, we can’t all be “yes men/women”!!!!

Have you seen some of the discussions (rows) I have had on here, you have to keep it subjective. What comments about peoples sexuality?
