Gonna have to put new boots on the Nob in time for summer. So before I do I'm going to have some fun and stick to my old saying 'if you're gonna bin em..then spin em' first. Once there is nothing left of them, what are the best all rounders for 365 days a year on the public highways? At the moment I have Goodyear Eagle NCT F1 something or others. They've proved to be good so far for me from a wear and tear point of view, as well as handling. But I know nothing about the limits of the car so might be completely wrong. So what is the general concensus out there?

I have F1 asymetric as well. Seem fine and dandy to me. Lee
So3's came with the GTO also.
The RE050's were the closest replacement, however they are very hard to find and last time I paid 135ea fitted for the rears and now they are 190ea I have two on reserve that go on in the next few weeks.
For me its about one set of rears a year and one set of fronts every two. so next year I will need all 4 and will look at the Eagles. Unless something else is about.

I think you'll find the Noble recommended replacement for the SO3s were the P zero Rossis. The Corsas are recommended for the M400 (which has a harder suspension set-up) and whilst the Corsas are brilliant in the warm and dry they are totally cr*p in the cold/wet.
I have a set of F1 asymmetrics which I generally put on in the winter months, although tbh this year I haven't even bothered as the weather has been so godawful. The F1s are brilliant in the cold and wet, but the only comparison I have is against the Corsas, which isn't saying much.

Have heard lots of good things about Vredestein Tyres (who I had never heard of) on other threads and forums. Anyone on here have any experience of them?

i used a set of Verdesteins years ago on a different car
they were quite good, but not something i would risk on a car like the Noble
i have a set of Toyo TR1-s i got from reyland, i like them very much
the car has so much more gradual breakaway and makes it easier to drive on the edge imho
the 888's are great but don't expect them to work well in the wet or last very long
