for my Trackday at Bedford next week.

Finally got around to changing the 10mm coolant hoses in the engine bay and, fingers crossed, no leaks so far. Would thoroughly recommend using Mikalor clamps, I can post some picks if anybody has the job planned.

Got the track rod end changed and toe adjusted, so car now goes in a stright linewoohoo

Fuel wiring mod done. Auto electrician couldn't stop laughing at the original wires.

Brake fluid changed to Motul, according to my mechanic alot of air came out!

Also a trip to Trevor to confirm it was all running correctly. Even though it has the latest Map Trevor still managed to tweak it so it drives much nicer now, especially from low revs. So thanks Trevorbow

I check the oil regulary and in 4K it has barely dropped, maybe I'm just not driving it hard enough? I take it the the two holes on the dipstick indicate Min and Max and the hatchings inbetween are just there to assist reading it?

Any other things I should do before hand? I have done track days before so know genearlly what to expect, but anything Noble specific to watch out for on the day? Any advice appreciated thanks.

Not looking likelyfrown. Set to be a very cold and wet day if you believe the weather man. Think it will make for interesting driving conditions!

I'm at bedford in the nob next week too, saturday 27th, what day are you doing? Another Noble is coming along so it would be good if there were three of us?

Ah gutted, would have been good to meet up with another nobler. Let us know how you get on, and my top speed down the back was 135mph before throwing out the anchor! wink

I take it you didn't go today, or was Bedford the only place in the country to be blessed with warm sunshine?

paperbag Thats the last time I use Metcheck for weather forecasts! It was cancelled, there was a good inch of snow on the track, with no sign of it letting up.

Wouldn't have minded so much, but I got my Nob all wet and dirty! Also it's no fun to drive on snowy/icy roadseek

Anybody on here own the red M400 that also turned up? I was going to come over for a chat, but I think you left pretty quickly after getting there, for which I don't blame you.

Yep thats mine.

I could have lived with the rain, even though I don't usually take it out unless the roads are bone dry, but it was a joke.

Ah well, have been given a credit note, so will have to get looking for another day.

Hope your day turns out better.
