Front lights

I have an early 2.5 and have xenon lamps and chokes fitted and would like to change the back to standard as they are playing up. My problem is that there are two other electrical boxes as well as the choke just wanted to check that the other boxes are standard as shown in photo. Many thanks

If they are standard does any one know what these boxes do?

Strangely enough I have just refitted my HID back in my car this morning, I think the boxes you show are part of the HID kit as the original wiring is in the loom at the front and consists of a red wire..+ve to side light, 2 blue wires (one with a stripe) which are headlight and main beam and another wire I cant remember the colour of but you should find its the earth for all the lamps
