Intercooler fitting
Discussion
So, I have my new intercooler from Proalloy. Everytime I go into the garage it stares at me, sat there in its box!!!! Mate of mine has a post lift in his engineering workshop, so no problem with brackets etc, just how hard are they to change and how long should I allow to fit???

Can't imagine that the intercooler should take long to fit if it's a direct replacement - maybe an hour?. However I do understand your position as I have a Pro-Alloy radiator which I bought last year that is still leaning against the wall in the garage.
Personally it's just too cold to go and play at the moment but is getting better as each week passes.

Exactly, has anyone got any phots of a 3R with the pro-alloy fitted???
really should make more effort, just never enough time, and no power in my garage yet. Still, the day light is starting to draw out so I will have no more excuses. lol Here is my attempt at fitting it. I didn't want to make the pics small so it's a 3MB doc. I could have done it without taking the IC mount out of the car but I wanted to put some new screws in. Took me about 90 mins.

Just out of interest I did a dyno run on the weekend on a DD rollers and got 385bhp (320 at the wheels) at 6200rpm and 405lbft at 3750 and 4600 rpm (slight dip inbetween). The only other mod I've done is to remove the cats as they were knackered.
