Open end , help guys

Ok car is finished but i have a open end into the inlet chamber ...see pic

is it supposed to have something in it , when car is running i can feel air being sucked in ?? bit concerned i have missed something !!!

That looks like a vacuum tapping. Is there a small diameter hose missing.

that should connect to your map sensor !

no wonder it was running rough - is the map sensor connected to the intake vacuum / boost ?

that is the pipe I was refering to... comes from the fuel regulator tees to the pipe u show and the other side goe to the inlet manifold (boost control valve?)

Well after a visit from Marc , got everything plugged in right now have very poor Tickover !!! And it's bad to drive !!! Bugger !!

A huge collection of Cobwebs, that needed blowing out with a heavy right foot. All seems fine now.
