Still got this breathing sound from my turbos when ticking over and miss fire at high revs.
Thought perhaps I've got blocked injectors like on Richie350's. Especially as I've got low on fuel a few times. Also, my mechanic cleaned the throttle body , which seemed to kick these problems off. Could some crap from the cleaning reach the injectors?
As for the breathing noise, really spooky sound! It's like someone is asleep behind me. When I turn the engine off there is a very long sigh as the pressure is released from both turbos. Pressure guage reads -0.5 at tickover and all seems normal until I hit 5000revs, when it starts to misfire.
Any guesses? Related problems or 2 entirely different ones? The mechanic simply changed plugs and cleaned throttle body without removing it.
Help!

Seems very odd symptoms. If pressure or vacuum really is venting slowly after you turn the engine off it would have to mean either the induction or exhaust system is partially blocked to atmosphere. As a starter are you sure the air filters are not blocked?
