for anyone thats interested i,m booked into to Silverstone on the 18th May for a eve track day ,thought it might be a bit of a shake down before Spa etc . here's the link :

says 98db noise limit so should be enough for most Nobs .

I suspect your above 98db simon... my car is 97 and thats a lot quieter than yours... as an example Daddysumo cant get on 105db track days.

No problem going to stuff 2 pairs of Dawns knickers up the tail pipes :before they test her :-) :-)

with standard exhaust system I doubt there's a problem but with the Roush system I was 99 db drive by on standard engine.

mine usually gets tested about 94-95db with std exhaust. also helps if you say it redlines about 6.5k, ahem

to be fair don't use much higher than that in the rev range as seems to generate more heat than power

can't make it to this one at silverstone, clutch went bang at croft on monday, bugger

is the noise restriction a static test 3/4 revs or drive by?

My std exhaust was quieter so below 97db... its a GT03 tho and I dont know if the M400 engine is noisier, pretty sure the M400 uses the same exhaust as the GT03 so suspect yours will be same db as mine was.
