I am having a few issues with my car. It didn't seem to give any boost and I was advised to spray the wastegates. I now seem to get boost to 0.5 in third and forth gear. The car still pulls well but it just doesn't feel quite right. I haven't got to the front actuator yet so that may be a little sticky.

Should the car boost in first and second gear?

While I was trying to get to the front actuator I noticed that the thin pipe that runs from the top of the engine to the top of the turbo is heat damaged. WHat does this pipe carry and is there a fire risk if it goes completely?

Like I say I can't quite put my finger on the issue and I'm sure most non Noble people would think it was fine. But if there is anyone in the local area (Melton Mowbray-Leicestershire) with Noble experience who would have a bit of time to give me a second opinion?

Thanks. Ive just been on the website. Looks like upgrade actuators are cheaper than standard ones.

Oil feed to turbo. Yes, there is a fire risk if it breaks.

Thanks. Is there any bleeding involved in chaging it?

trying to find the part is proving a tad hard. Any suggestions on good parts supplier.

Which part - the oil feed line or the actuator? For the feed line, any place that makes steel braided hoses should be able to duplicate the one that you have. Just make sure they match the flare fittings on the ends - over here, they're a 37 degree AN fitting. Don't know what they are on your side of the pond.

If the feed line for the front turbo is damaged, most likely the feed line for the rear turbo is damaged too.

Might want to have an extra set made - these seem to burn up on a regular basis, even if you use fireshield on them. Over here, we've designed a replacement part that fixes that problem...

Getting a couple of oil feed lines made up tomorrow. Really easy yot take off, only took about 10 minutes. Both actuators seem to be free ao maybe I am being a little paranoid!
