Paint chips and repaint clam

A 400 Im looking at has a fair amount of stone chips. These are all in front and on the intake side ducts.
Does the whole clam need to be resprayed or can it be fadded in.? The car is silver.
Some have said can do ok, others reckon it will be second grade job.
Its not about the cost, rather, 90% of clam is still like new and original, and I would like to keep it like that.

When I bought my 400, there was a massive stone chip on the front clam, that I insisted was done by a bodyshop rather than a "chips away" type place as part of the deal. It's completely unnoticeable now, so a decent body shop should be able to blend.

I think its best to do the lot unless you can loose it on a swage line or something because otherwise you will notice it, if not at first you will as the paint weathers.
