trevor uses a place called Track n Road (I think that's what its called anyway) just off the A13 in Purfleet/Wennington on certain days of the week, so dead easy for you to get to from southend. I have his mobile number but not sure i'm supposed to give it out on the forum (??) his email is trevor.jasper@revolve.co.uk.
sounds like there are more essex based nobbers now, so we should start hooking up more often now that we are (reportedly) heading towards summer.

Track n Road is run by Steve Greenald. They are at Thurrock and very highly recomended by hundreds of Caterham owners. They do lots of stuff for Mountune and Roush as well. Steve's mobile is 07774 773824 to book.
They are in Rainham, Trevor doesn't work for them but uses their facilities for . callabration, you can contact him through his profile on here. only a few mods so far, Bosch uprated fuel pump and loom, Haywood and Scott exhaust (no cats), Aem progressive water injection kit, Aem boost controller, Aem wide band gauge. Looking poss to do intercooler and hard pipes before map but not too worried as water inj should keep intake temps cool enuf.
correct me if im wrong but an intercooler is designed to take the heat generated by the turbos out of the air leading to the engine, the water injection's jet is located just before the butterfly on my throttlebody and when a certain preset psi is achieved in the boost system, say 5 psi it starts pumping water in a fine mist into the air which is then mixed with the fuel lowering intake temps dramatically. You can also use methanol but i find it burns too hot and you can run slightly leaner compared to water. So the same result is achieved virtually i think using water injection as having a larger intercooler, except the larger intercooler might have a greater flow capacity which is also an obvious benefit. I will still change the intercooler but just want to catch up a bit with what i have allready spent.
