I've been invite on a car run to the Isle of Wight, has any-one taken a Noble 3-R on the Isle of Wight ferry, is it possible with regards to ground clearance ??

Not sure about the IoW ferry but mine hs been on lots of boats in the past with no issues.

yep not sure IOW,but take slow and easy,they may leave you to last so dont worry thats a good thing.....took mine to Le mans last year found the english very good french side didnt care.....

On that note, have you guys always been put on the lower level, as I take it a Noble will not make it up the ramps on a ferry?

Took mine over once, no problem but I have the Boomerang splitters not the full front one.

I took my M12 (with original splitter) over fine about 6 years ago.

Have taken the Noble across the channel 5 or 6 times.

Really amuses me when the crew get the planks out, slowly guide us on and off the ferry, and the guys in the cars behind get really arsey about the special treatment..

I have the boomerang splitters and had no problems getting on and off the Seafrance ferry.

I got mine on the standard HSS ferry and had to go up levels etc. Took her slow, but didnt need any ramps etc.
