2.5 Fan upgrade options

Hi guys,

Wanting some advice on the best way to keep water temps down on the 2.5 noble as if i take it to work the odd day i could potentially be stopped or going at little speeds for 5-10mins at a time.

I have splashed out a lota money on the noble to get her resprayed etc (pics to come very soon) and dont wanna spend mass amounts just yet on upgrading a to a new RAD just.

I have done some previous searches on the forum. Am i right in thinking that the 3r has like a surrounding that covers the RAD and the 2 fans inset in this surround? Has anyone out there attempted to do this on the 2.5 or even priced the bits up off noble?

Also anyone know is there better fans you can fit? Like bigger ones or ones that draw more air?

Its only a £150 upgrade I'm sure of it.

I found that everytime my system was drained the coller the car ran to the point now that the needle sits at 80 which is close to waht temp the pipes are at.

I think i should be looking for VA10-AP50/C-61A span fan....

Will price up off noble tomorrow - think i can get the fans for around £100 each from a general supplier but without the cowl

Just some info for people potentially looking at these upgrades. 2 new uprated fans and cowling is £300 with VAT and all inculded from Noble.

Fans where like £83 each +vat
Cowling was around £90 + vat

I am going to wait and see after i get my Rad repaired how my temp sits in traffic, if its still poor then I might have to make this upgrade

This fits with the info I got recently from South West Lotus Centre:

x1 Radiator cowl £79.99+VAT - in stock
x2 Radiator Fans £85.00+VAT each - in stock

It might be necessary to upgrade a couple of the fuses too. I think the bigger fans draw more current.

Hmmm, maybe it was £250, I had mine done with a lot of other work. Plans did mine.

80??? Mine sits at 90 but never moves. That is in the 12 o'clock position.
