NO POWER !!

Recently purchased an M12 GTO-3R ..... nice, but didn't feel as fast as it should. So this morning I strap her onto a rolling road at Charlie's place in Chobham 'Surrey Rolling Road' & I was right, she's only pushing 270BHP. Charlie can't see anything obviously wrong, so suggested I start by asking you lot ..... any ideas?? Can anyone reccomend a local specialist, or is it a trip to the dealer, Mole Valley.

What does theboost guage read on full throttle above 3000rpm? And does it move around or drop?

a 3r should put down approx 320 - 340 min

see if you have a boost leak somehwere

what does the boost gauge read ?

Check the source of the boost--the turbos!
Pull off the outlet pipe and check that the impeller turns easily and smoothly.

Have a chat with Yellowshed (e-mail him through his profile). Once he's fettled it, it will then feel a lot faster than it should!

THanks, Robp. I can't fix blocked cats though. Best check to see if your cats are blocked - if you're making boost and down on power, then that's the most likely cause.

Recommend intercooler upgrade and exhaust upgrade to feel maximum benefit from a remap.
