2.5 Minor Service

Hey All,
Anyone know whats involved in a minor service for my 2.5 2002 M12?
Whats the best oil etc.
I'm gonna give the car to the guys that looked after my Porsche, but they've never serviced a Noble before & theres not much in the handbok that will help them.
Any advice, much appreciated.

Swindon, Wiltshire.
The nearest Noble place is West Tuning at Thruxton, the guys I use are Steve Bull specialist cars in Devises who look after all our cars & have done for years. They are very competent mechanics & it suits me from a travel point of view to continue to use them.

I think if I had just bought a car that I knew little about I would take it to main dealer that had a good reputation, get a full service and the once over.

The car had a full service & inspection by Noble Motorsport last year & 2000 miles ago, i just want to keep the service schedule up to date.

short service normaly consist if oil change and filter + general inspection greese door hinges fill washer bottle ect , could do plugs if you wanted but not needed after 2000 miles , i would also clean out breather system as well also check turbo/manifold nuts to make sure there tight .

Ohh, what oil would be recommended, fully synthetic?, any particular brand?

Hi Jay ,can only tell you what i use in my GT03 ,shell helix ultra 5w-40w fully synthetic don,t know wether its suitible for a 2.5 . Simon

Thats what I'll be using when it comes to it. I spent ages trying to find it online until my stupid brain realised that its on the shelf in every Shell garage

don,t buy it from a shell garage you can buy it from Paul Kendle at Andrew Page ltd 01733 340177 just cost me £60 for 10 litres !!! +p&p .
