You wouldn't believe what we got away with checking peoples heartbeats, particularly in the danish bar on karting nord.

Thankfully no one injured and car held up well but quite a bit of damage and just goes to show a lapse of concentration it all happens this quick .anyway me and my son managed to get hire car and got to watch the race but could kick myself as have driven many times in france but we all make mistakes and could have been so much worse

I saw quite a few while I was out there, especially coming back from "The Great British Meet" on Friday where the M600 was on display. First time I've been up close and personal to it and it's definitely nicer in the flesh. Saw it again that evening at the drivers parade where Peter was lighting up the tyres for the crowd.

Hi Jim, glad to see you got back ok, hope you and your son are ok and that you can sort the Noble out! It was good to meet you but the circumstances weren't the best.

Cheers

Well what a trip this year was.....the weather got hotter towards the weekend but we had rain in the evening...good trip down as this year i went from dover to bougline, forgot how long it was.... Cantaloup was great as ever and Dominic welcoming as normal.

I got selected this year for the annual car show,Fab at least we didn't gate crash it...then won the first of the 3 trophy...!!! really good as my group had been coming their for 10 years so was abit of an anniversary.Meant for more beer than normally.

However one sad note was meeting my friend my devon who was caught up in a small crash however costing a huge amount just to get it home.Glad its repairable and look forward to seeing it again in its pride of place...I too had a minor bruising on the M25 coming home after dover when a french truck decided to come into my lane and brushed the side arch's and the front wheel, made him stop and cough up on the spot as i didn't think i'd see him again.

apart from that and the usual boozey sessions the show at St Saurian was excellent and the sun shone all day, only to have my annual drive down the Mulsanne straight roused by all the Gendarme outside the restaurant.

some photos of this years events....
