From Hyundai once you have cut the clam to bits, The US cars have a different clam, It may be doable but I don't think anyone has tried yet.

I once got close to sorting an option only for the company I was working with to fold. Haven't given up, still trying to find a replacement.

What the hell has the guy put on for a steering wheel, looks like he has cut the top section of the wheel out!!!

Forgot to mention... do we really have to cut the clam to bits? What im saying is, is there not a company in the world that will do custom lights to order?

Lots of them. Problem is the volume as to get moulds, tooling etc set up would be prohibitively expensive for one or two orders

If you could point me in the direction of these companies i will be more than willing to do all the research and post all the info on here for everyone else

Ive broken my hand, and being a boxing trainer, im off work for at least 2 weeks - plenty of time to mess around with this!

As others have said there is no way a company such as Valeo or Hella is going to tool up rear lamp sets that are injection moulded. Even using tooling from a low cost source such as China you`d be talking a six figure sum. The alternative is to take parts like the LED lights here:
http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/lights_rear.html
..and then mount then in a grp `carrier` moulding - which is what `Noble Mods` did and what one member was looking at here before their proposed source, (a kit car company), went bust. Or mount something similar in a `cheapo` moulding which was what Marcos cars used for their `after burner` lights which are also found on a few Nobles - including mine. the latter still needed the rear clam cutting to fit them and to me are a reasonable solution. The only trouble is no one knows the where the parts were sourced including Marcos Heritage. You could always give Rory a call at the latter to see if has any new ideas....

And without trying to rain further on the parade, what happens when one gets damaged? How do you source a spare?
I'm not a great fan of the Mondeo units but I don't dislike them enough to feel compelled to change them.

Yes, i see what your saying. I dont dislike the headlights the greatly either - but i would change them given the correct opportunity.

Im investigating now, just contacted a company, sent them some pics and they say they will come back with some ideas/costs.

Will let you know what they say
