Cheers

There's a place called Lakeside on Vinnetrow Road where I have stayed for both the Festival and Revival. Quite handy for both Chichester centre and Goodwood.

Just try not to get a pitch too near the main road it can be noisy
Also a nice pub up the road

Tony, don't mean to be rude, but if you could let me know if this is possible, I can cancel the room and treat your family to a meal.

Cheers

A fellow PHer has kindly given me tickets for the Friday, but for the Saturday tickets its around £40 to get in then around £45 for the roaming ticket for access into the grandstands etc (better view). Not sure if we should park in the venue or outside then walk in??

Cheapest way to get in on the Friday ( other than if you can get free tickets!) is to buy a Bonhams auction catalogue.

The catalogue costs £30 and gets two people in to the FoS, and the auction which is entertainment itself.

Take some sun cream!!! we didn't on Friday and my forehead is paying the price!!!

Also, don't buy a program, (£12 yikes) but go to the Land Rover stand, go into the Land Rover owners lounge and they have the programs ear pieces etc there for nought.

Lost count on the childhood dream cars, yes we watched that car with the twin rear wings, wasn't hanging about. Bruno driving his Uncles car was prity cool. Highlight has to be the little Renault 5 Gordini, doing full 360 degree spins flat-out up the hill, car control was fantastic, nascar's doing 1000 yard burn-outs, Lotus JPS F1 car at full chat and so and so on, great weekend. biggrin
