Following our success of SPA and the Ring .. some people expressed their interest in a UK track day before the end of this year.

Who is up for it? What track do you recommend? When do you want to go?

Give some suggestions - I'll setup a list and get something organised.

Gold Track are doing several at Silverstone - new GP circuit.

Open pit lane - full day £399 - 105dB
2 groups - full day - £329 - 105dB
Evening (2.5 hours track time) open pit lane - £149 - 98dB

There seems to be a fair amount of run-off in most places, so I would have thought it's reasonably safe???

It's also a fairly central location in the country so I'm guessing not too difficult to reach both for those down south, and also from up north?

I would like the whole day at bedford or half at silverstone.

Adrian, why would the Nobles be no good for Bedford?

why whole day and half day??

Is that just because of how far away the tracks are from you??

Was thinking of cost but, would probably do half day for either. depending on date I may well go for the full day. Got lots to pay for over the next few months, including stuff on the car. smile

I think Snetterton is a great track,
It has a good mix of fast and slow corners and a couple of good straights to get the boot down.
It,s not too punishing on the cars either I'd be well up for that.

Snett's a track I really enjoy. Good one for the Noble too with a couple of nice straights to get those turbo's whirring and a couple of great twistie bits smile

Who lives near there!!! We can all sleep over at your place!

It is 2.5hrs from where I live.

Sounds like a good track though. Are people interested in this place?

£159 for a full day 92db noise limit.

The have space 20th Sept with Easytrack.

There are plenty of others but this is just an example to gauge interest.

but now you're fitter, you won't be wheezing so loudly!

TBH I wouldn't bother with Bedford even if the noise limit was 300dB. It is just the most boring circuit in any configuration (IMHO).

Rob - you've done a fair few trackdays - where would you recommend (given that quite a few of us haven't done many in the past).
Conrad.
