Would someone mind measuring from the lower base of the interior mirror housing (that's the arm that's glued to the screen) to the lowest point on the black film on the inside of the screen please.
PS - must be an original unmolested screen. I'll explain later...
On my 3R the mirror base is 5mm up from the bottom of the black area that drops down for the mirror location. The top of the mirror mounting base is level with the black strip that goes across the full width of the screen. Hope that makes sense!
Yep me too, the black surround of the screen actually incorporates the area where the mirror is attached. The mirror is pretty much spot on central to this extra area both horizontally and vertically.
I had a new screen fitted and was thinking that they've fitted the mirror too low - it seems not then
