Does any one know the capacity of the petrol tank? Mine is registering empty but without a warning light after 40 litres used but what literature I can find tends to indicate 70 litres!

Thanks Simon what sort of range do you get with normal, if it can ever be described as normal, road driving?

Robin, I think all the cars are set up like this where the warning light comes on with the tank still about a third full. The rational is to warn you of the danger of starving the engine of fuel - especially on track - when cornering/braking/accelerating hard. If the engine were to run lean at full throttle it could result in burnt pistons etc. I guess the fuel pick up design is slightly suspect....
The mileage on a tank of fuel is directly proportional to the angle of your right foot on the throttle....In terms of mpg my 3R can do mid 20`s on a long run at a sensible speed, about 15 whilst `enjoying the performance` on the road and I`m guessing into single figures on a track. (I`ve not done that personally).

Bob, Does yours a fuel light ? didn't think they existed on a Noble.
When the gauge reads empty should be 20 litres in the standard tank.
