It really depends on your budget.
The new Ferrari 458 (570 BHP) has "unofficially" cracked 3.2 secs to sixty in the hands of the press according to the dealer I have been speaking to and it was a dealer sourced demonstrator!!
A well specced Ultima GTR (550 BHP) with N/A LS7 power.
Factory open day August 8th
Lotus Elise / Exige with S/C Honda or Turbo Audi lump( 300-400 BHP) are quite "special" with over 500 BHP / tonne and relatively cheap at the right spec.
See Maidstone sportscars for a demo.
If you don't mind the electronics turning you into a driving God then Nissan GTR is THE vehicle of choice.
If you dont mind Pork you could do worse than a 996 / 997 GT2

If / when they arrive New Maclaren, Fenix,

Not that I'd Sell my Noble but I like your way of thinking...The new Ferrari 458 (570 BHP) has "unofficially" cracked 3.2 secs to sixty in the hands of the press according to the dealer I have been speaking to and it was a dealer sourced demonstrator!!

personally id not have the ultima. My mate has one (one of the best around) nearly 100k total spent building it and by someone else. 560bhp, rear view camera etc etc was pistonheads pic of the week a while ago and... i just think it is too hardcore on the road. difficult to get into and i'm not the biggest fan of front clam design, wierd lights. might just be me.
dont get me wrong. sounds awesome, goes awesome, looks awesome from the back but i just like the overall qualities of the Noble and when i get mine back from Area 52 with 450+ bhp (and the rest) i doubt he will get away from me on the roads. hopefully we'll find out on the track to.
cheers

fenix is a little over budget but hopefully when they drop a good chunk id go for one. thinking dodge viper. i know its a totaly different type of car to the noble.
If your thinking Yank, you got to have a look at the Corvett, I know this one has sold, but just to show what you could get for your buck, if a left hooker isn't a problemhttp://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1916071.htm
