Oil Temp Guage
Discussion
I have individual oil temp and pressure gauges fitted right at the bottom of the central instrument console - Smiths Telemetrix from Merlin motorsport (IIRC). They are identical to the Noble OEM but of course without the Noble logo. Cheaper than the Noble gauge especially if you are able to fit them yourself. Look like an original fit though IMHO.

I believe that there's a dual temp/psi gauge in Smith's Telemetrix line of gauges - it's used in the M400s over here in the states. Might want to give Caerbont Automotive Instruments (www.caigauge.com) a call - I believe they used to be Smith's...
They won't sell you the Noble gauge from the M400/(optional)3R as its a Noble only part. I've been down this road myself. All you can buy in the telemetrix range is a dual oil pressure/water temp gauge although why you'd want that I don't know.Best option is either the original gauge at great expense from Noble (and its mechanical) or as said before, buy individual oil pressure and oil temp gauges from the range (cheaper at Merlin Motorsport) and mount them separately. You can also opt for the - far easier to work with - electrical gauges, if you wish.
Or.... change the whole set for something else as others have done.
Thanks guys,
Correct me if im wrong, but I've got water temp only, Other than an oil light, I have no Oil Temp or Pressure - Hence a dual guage would be ideal -Electrical sounds far easier, just a case of swapping out the sender once I've found it :-)
Maybe its something Im used to monitoring from my RS Turbo days.
Next question is mounting options, My car is set up to start from the key, I see the Engine start button as a nice to have but not a must, I could move the engine start a couple of inches up + left (or remove fully) and mount a dual oil guage in its place.
Or has anybody gone the dash pod route ?
Thanks for the advice, pity the search isnt working hence the noobie Q's
Cheers

You'll find (when the search options works again) that the standard mounting point for the gauge on anything other than the M400 was at the bottom right hand side of the centre area of the dash, just below and to the right of where you are already looking. It was a further option on any car that had been specced with a TDS.
