Hi Guys

I want to replace the power steering pump, anyone know where the best place to get one? or does anyone have one for sale?
is it an easy job to change?

Cheers

Try a Ford parts place, like a Ford Dealer. You didn't say whether you have a 3L or a 2.5L - for the 3L it's not too hard, just a little messy. Remove the side panels, remove the belt, undo the reservoir, undo the hoses (they'll dump fluid all over, so be sure to have a pan ready), remove the pulley, unbolt the nuts and bolts that hold the pump bracket in place, remove the pump. You may have to remove the motor mount to get the pump out - it's a little tight. On the US cars the bracket is slightly modified, and one of the pipes is different from stock, so be sure to make the new pump match the old.

Installation is just the reverse.

I know its a bit late reply but I have been out the country for some time.
does anyone know the part number for a power steering pump for a 3r?
or do I have to go direct to noble for it?

I have been quoted £500 for suply and fit by a dealer, that seems high to me or its that about right?
Thanks
Jim
