Car Limits activity day - 26th November
Discussion
A couple of friends have booked places on a Car Limits open activity day for Friday 26th November at North Weald. Basically same format as previous Noble only day we organised, but open to anyone.
Whilst I know it's late in the season and will not appeal to those of us who tuck the car up at the first sign of dodgy weather, I thought I'd mention it if anyone was interested. We've booked already, and I'm kind of hoping it might be a bit wet to get more experience in slippy conditions. A wet surface would also mean less tyre wear as a bonus!
Anyway details are Here
Friday 26th November, North Weald.
All day messing about on the airfield - 2 "circuits" and the high speed corner.
Cost - £39 per car + 1 passenger.
Basically a cheap day out for a bit of fun.
Anyone interested, just book on the website.
It's a max of 24 cars, and there are 16 spaces available at the moment.
Current attendees are here
Cheers,
Conrad.

You wont need it, you will be the only car out at one time and have nothing to hit
Yep - we did these type of days before even thinking about a trackday. As Bondy says, it's in the middle of an airfield around cones. Only one car running at a time, so no chance of hitting anyone. Only advice really is that if you polish/wax the car beforehand, even the little marks from catching a cone come off easily.

make that 10...
all booked in. will be my first serious drive of my, soon to be, 450 bhp car :-). hopefully picking the car up from Mike Tuckwood imminently but don't want to do a trackday till i have spent some more time with the car. this should be a good starter...
Will be great to meet some more of you.
cheers
James

Cheers Declan - good to see some pics.I took the camera gear but didn't get chance to take any as I was too busy having fun driving!

Despite the cold, it was a really good day, and a good bunch of people. Really liked the circuit layouts, as I'd not done the lower circuit or the sprint circuit before despite doing quite a few Car Limits days.
Looking forward to the next one sometime, hopefully with Mrs C&C and the Datsun!

Looks like you took all the Honours then Conrad
Hi Martin, more a case of the car rather than the driver I think!
It certainly got a fair bit of attention - I think most of the people there managed to get a passenger ride at some point.
Was disappointed James and Mike didn't turn up - I was looking forward to meeting them and also comparing times

sorry i couldnt make it guys, still havent got the car back from Area 52.
wouldnt have made it anyway, weather is just silly up here. i did take the opportunity to go snowboarding all weekend in Scotland though (one of the few good points about living so far North)
Noble looks great, love the wheels and like the fact they record times, i'll well up for that challenge next year!!
cheers
