GTO3R with 500 BHP. Started life with 325, noble motorsport owned it and did development work to 455BHP. Now I have it and the exhaust upgrade has taken it to 500 BHP. Figure I'll keep smiling until someone beats it - with proof!!http://www.solenoidvalvesuk.com/noble_GTO3R.asp have dyno's on here too.

I meant when everyone turns up to prove you've got nowhere near 500 brake.

beat what? if you talking power then i'm afraid your late to the party as 500bhp was far exceeded on the dyno years ago.

Hi Mike welcome to the gang !! 500 bhp is pretty good going :-) have you upgraded injectors ?? Also did you do valve springs? more interested on your mods than peak power , be good to see it on track . Tux

Injectors done, not valve springs. The T28 hybrids seem to mask this issue. Anyway the power drops off before the top- the valve springs would just give more at peek rev range - a bit to close for comfort. Changed the fuel pump though after the exhaust upgrade as it struggled past 450bhp. All good now, goes like a scalded cat on speed. Must say - excellent job by NMSport.

While your playing with it do you think you could iron my shirt,

not enough grunt to peel the skin off of a rice pudding I'm afraid

and 424lbs of torque, I'm surprised its enough to keep the flywheel spinning over

Erm, my old M400 was 527, I think Adrian W was at some point 550 or more.

Mine and Adrian's was a Roush, lots of work done, I wish I still had her.

Hi Mike,

500bhp is very nice power for this car and you can still retain some reliability without great expense, but it is quite easily achievable and many owners are acheiving this power and more so.
The research to modify and achieve 500bhp+ was carried out many years ago by founding members on these forums, to create a Noble on here that is special is going to mean being a pioneer to create a unique upgrade that works so well that others can follow suit.
No offence but at the moment you are saying "beat that" to people who pioneered the modifications you have on your car.

Look forward to seeing your car and the modifications and welcome to the forums smile

I'm pretty convinced JNM's RR is 12-15 % optimistic based upon 2 or 3 postings of other cars, and personal experience of mine.

There are at least 5 cars which have more power than your 'quoted' figures, mine was 450 at JNM and 400 a week later on a DD rolling road, so dont be suprised as others have said if its not as powerfull as you think.
As for top speed, what speed have you had, verified on a V box or whatever ?

Should be at least 180 to be any where near what others can get on the straight mile !!

wow ...you made 500 on std valve springs ???bugger did not think that was possible as you cannot run the boost needed , what size injectors did you put in when i had mine mapped at track and road we ran out of duty cycle on the injectors so its a upgrade for the winter , are you still running the cast pistons ?
