if it continues after fluid is topped up you may have to purge the system, the quick way is to put steering on full lock and then rev the car up to 5000rpm, keep checking and topping up the ATF fluid and skimming off the froth until the noise goes away.

Rev the car to 5000? Not a wise thing to free-rev a motor that high without load. To bleed the system, all you have to do is start the car, and at idle, turn the steering wheel lock-to-lock a few times. Top up the fluid as needed. Do this a couple of times, or until any noise in the middle of travel is gone - when you're pressing against the lock, you'll always hear a little noise as the pressure relief valve opens.
